A comparison of Bioactive Silicon (Si) content as OSA of the most well known recognized brands with SPRITZER natural mineral water revealed more than double advantage of Spritzer’s OSA as Bioactive Silicon content to the elite brands.
In a recent paper published in a prestigious peer-reviewed journal. Dietary Silicon Intake is Positively Associated with Bone Mineral Density in Men and Pre-menopausal Women of the Framingham Offspring Cohort.

In this epidemiological study involving 1251 men and 1596 women (306 pre-menopausal), higher dietary Si intake was associated with higher adjusted bone mineral density (BMD) at the hip in men and pre-menopausal women, but not post-menopausal women. These findings suggest that Si may be beneficial for cortical bone formation. Those taking Si of > 40 mg per day has higher BMD than those consuming < 40 mg per day.
A consumption of 1.5 litre bottle of Spritzer natural mineral water per day should provide you with 45 mg of Si that may be beneficial for strong bones. |
